It may be a faulty recording or one of the numerous "glitches" that occur on WAOV daily. I know that no station is perfect but you must admit that WAOV has more than the usual programming problems.

I love listening but it's like running an obstacle course, you never know what is going to happen next.

Dead air, Dr. Laura playing instead of Hannity, Dr. Laura playing instead of a sporting event (I can't recall which one it was) for almost a half hour, satellite promo feeds for news "blurbs" being broadcast for almost and hour (with the most annoying earsplitting tones included), the continuous playing of the same National Guard commercial for over 20 minutes, the bottom of the hour news being played at 20 after the hour and then either played again at 30 after or having dead air during those few minutes, a commercial for the Brickyard 400 that was a year or two old which told of a prerace concert that would not be held that current year, replaying a weather report for a summer day during the winter (it was about 10 degrees that day and the weather was reported as sunny and 80), etc, etc.

Of course these problems occur when nobody is around to answer the phone.

My Dad lives just north of Flat Rock, IL and listens to Rush Lindbaugh on your station. On several occasions he says that Rush's program just goes off the air he gets nothing but static until station ID time. Recently, July 4th, he said that an encore program of Rush's played, and the same part that was missing quite some time ago, was not broadcast again. He is 96, has seen a lot in his life time, and suspects something sinister is happening. I told him that I seriously doubted that. So, just for my info, do you know if there was some type of programming problem last Friday? Thanks.

Indiana resodent T.E. Scott would love to come on WAOV to talk about his book, "Crazyman's Economics" which is available at www.crazymanseconomics.com.

Matt! Thanks for the question, here is where you can find our "On-Demand" stuff. On the home page we have a new "live stream" mogulus player, when that player is fully loaded you will notice a "on-demand" button on the bottom of the player. Click that. Once your on-demand content comes up you will see - "Championship Saturday". Then we have it broken down into two segments. If you are using dialup it may take some time for those games to download, but you should be able to listen to them in full.

Dave Young mentioned that the Cub League games that he braodcast over the weekend will be available to listen to from the website. I can't seem to find them. Can you tell me when they will be available?

Thanks for providing this service.

Ditto on the Dennis Miller complaints. Dennis is only 'ok' in my book. I would prefer the G man. Laura Ingraham and Garrison are fine ideas, too. Dave Ramsay was great for the short time he was aired, but I know he is now aired on 1250 which is too close.

Why the change to Dennis Miller? I say no to Dennis Miller.

At one time in history, WAOV carried Laura Ingraham and my vote is to bring Laura Ingraham back instead of Dennis Miller.

Thanks for taking the time to read this comment.

Thanks for carrying the Rivet baseball game tonight. As a former broadcaster your guy did a great job, however, he may want to check Jordan Campbell's uniform number.
As I listened I was surprised to hear Jordan was playing 3rd base as he hadn't played there all year. Turns out he didn't play 3rd base but as usual he was in right field for the 1st 3 innings. It was Cory Montgomery at 3rd. Other than that a great job of local sports coverage.
( Jordan is my son )
